The State Funding Agency of Ceará (Funcap) is an institution of public law with administrative and financial autonomy governed by a statute and norms of Public Law related to foundations and by the State legislation applicable. It is linked to the State Secretary of Science, Technology, and High Education of Ceará (Secitece).
Date of establishment: The FUNCAP was established through the Law nº 11.752 of November 12th, 1990 and changed by the Law nº 15.012 of October 4th, 2011.

The State Funding Agency of Distrito Federal (FAPDF) is an entity with legal personality under private law, in the form of a public foundation and has the purpose to foster, support, and promote the scientific, technological, and innovation development of Distrito Federal aiming at the welfare of the population, the defense of the environment, and the progress of science and technology.
Date of establishment: The FAPDF was established through the Law nº 347 of November 04th, 1992.

The State Funding Agency of Espírito Santos (FAPES) is an institution linked to State Secretary of Science, Technology, Innovation, and Technical Education (SECTI) and execute the guidelines of the State Policy of Science, Technology, and Innovation (S,T&I). Its main activities are: operationalization of institutional support; financial and technical support to programs and projects; to promote scientific, technological, and innovation development to public and private institutions of ST&I; management of the State Fund of Science and Technology (FUNCITEC) and fundraising of financial support and establishment of partnership for the development of ST&I in the State of Espírito Santo.
Date of establishment: The FAPES was established through the State Complementary Law 290 of June 25th, 2004.

The State Funding Agency of Goiás (FAPES) is linked to the State Secretary of Development and Innovation (SEDI) has legal personality under public law with administrative and financial autonomy and budget linked to the net revenue of the State of Goiás.
Date of establishment: The FAPEG was established through the State Law 15.472 of December 12th, 2005.

The State Funding Agency of Maranhão (FAPEMA)´s mission is to foster the science and technology in Maranhão providing to scientist from this State the condition to conducting research projects and mediating the transformation of scientific knowledge into an instrument capable of contributing to the reduction of social asymmetries.
Date of establishment: The FAPEMA was established through the State Law 5.030 of December 05th, 1990.
